MBPC conducted its first intensive of the 2010-11 enrollment. It was hosted by New Covenant Church in Hampton, VA on March 26-27. The topic was The Heart of a Leader. The presenters were Pastor Mark Johansson, his father Paul, and Cliff Bowen, the Poquoson’s chief of police and member of NCC. The topics covered included “The Character and Gifts of a Leader,” “Five Kinds of Leaders,” “The Leader’s Greatest Fear,” “Leadership 101: Unleash Your Leadership Potential.”
This was a great learning experience attended by 17 students. Dean Pete Beck III and instructor Bill Powell were also present and contributed. The pastors’ college is going great and all the students are enthused. Pete Beck III stayed over Sunday to give Tom Ivey a certificate of completion. Tom was one of the first graduates of the school.
